Okay, for those of you who don't already know and are enrolled, Cephalon all of a sudden has made the decision to cap monthly supplies of Fentora to 120 tablets, regardless of dosage or what your doctor intends for you. For those of you who take less than 120 tablets a month, this affects you too. Cephalon has decided that for right now, there will be no new enrollees to the program, and current enrollees WILL NOT be reenrolled at the end of their current enrollment term, and they are not offering any alternatives. Now, this may only be temporary, but in any case, its a really really bad thing for those of us dependant on this program to pay for our medication. For those of us in the program, we have no way of paying for our prescript
ions outside of the program because thirty day supplies run several thousands of dollars, as Im sure you have found out. I believe that Cephalon is doing this because they need more product to sell as they launch Fentora in Europe. On their website, they have just announced that the European version of Fentora was launched. Don't you think its a little coincidental that just as they are launching Fentora in Europe, all of a sudden they have to limit their Assistance Program Patients? This is little more than greediness on their part. So, we all need to write the "board" that made this decision. I have the contact information if you are interested in giving them a piece of your mind and explaining to them why you need your medication. My email is JThompson311 at msn dot com if you are interested in writing to this board. I urge you to do so because we all could very shortly find ourselves without our medication...
(I rewrote your email address so the web "spiders" don't find it and deluge you with spam)
