I have great news. A Dr. Ahmed Ghanem is a urologist from Saudi who has been working in King's Lynn for the last ? year. He is moving to work at King's College hospital in London on 22nd June as a Registrar for Mr. Peter Thompson. They are unique caring doctors who have a special interest in hypermobile kidneys, LPHS & King's still do lying & standing IVU's which is how hypermobile kidneys are diagnosed.

I think that King's College hospital will become THE PLACE TO BE if you suffer from the mentioned conditions, can get a referral & can bear the journey to get there.

It's wonderful to have kidney pain believed & to have doctors who want to help. If only a centre of Excellence could be set up in the UK.

Hi Alison,

I sure hope you can find some relief. Please do some research on this doctor before you sink all of your hopes into him. I 'Googled' his name and didn't come up with much of anything even associated with Kings College Hospital. Can you point me to any other information on this? We have people visit the CP forum with LPHS who truly need help.

Dear Chutz,

I got his research off the internet but he hasn't started at his new place of work yet. He & Peter Thompson have written re Nephroptosis & ? a link with LPHS. I will let him settle in before I say any more
