I've recently been approved for Lyrica for my low back pain. I have had good results with using the free samples from my doctor (in conjunection with Percocet that I've been on for a LONG time).
I had to appeal to my insurance company because they originally rejected coverage for the Lyrica. It's now been approved, but when I went to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy - the co-pay is $75. While $75 a month won't break my bank, when considering all the other drugs I am on, the co-pays for all the doctor visits, MRIs, Xrays, various treatments, etc - it's quite a co-pay when you figure it out yearly, and that I'll likely be on Lyrica long term.
I know that the pharmaceutical companies often times offer a credit card type thing, that pays your co-pay on certain drugs.
Does anyone know if there is one of these for Lyrica, and if so, how can I get one?
Thanks in advance,
Boxie
