Hi everyone, I'm Peter and I'm 44 years old from South Florida. Can't remember the last time I posted on a forum but what the heck. I suffer from general, social and panic disorders as well as some mild depression(mostly situational). I also suffer from chronic pain due to back injuries. I'm in a pretty good place lately due to some medicines and treatments that are really helping but it would nice to know I have somewhere I can go when things get tough again as I'm sure they will. I hope I could also be of some help to some of you as I've had some of these ailments for 25 years. I've had addictions to painkillers and benzo's in the past which I have under control for the last few years. Anyway, enough rambling for now. Just wanted to say hey... :-)

Welcome again! Looks like you've got the forum figured out just fine! smilewinkgrin
Don't forget to also check out the Anxiety & Depression sections, but stay here, too!

I also deal with back pain from a fall I took about 4 years ago. Had all the treatments, injections, PT, etc., and finally fusion surgery last year, which failed. So I'm still trying to find a combination of meds. that work. Sounds like you have - so feel free to share with us! It's always good to hear stories of procedures and medications that are helpful!

Thank you PALADY and SHANNON1 for the warm welcome. Think I have the forum figured out and no I hate these hurricanes. Looks like Ike is coming our way. Major anxieties starting to resurface shakehead  . Hope everyone has a great day.

Yep, i a little freaked out myself... Hurricane Ike is pretty scary. After living through Hurricane Andrew, we are already trying to make plans to get the heck out of dodge with two kids, two dogs and a cat...guess we are sleeping in the car somewhere...lol have a good one!
