Husband is home for the hospital. He had a temp OVER 104.
He had a Hospitalist. (A doctor who works only in the hospital)
I saw something about E-Coli on his forms.
Is the hospital responsible for telling about an infectious disease?
He has temporarily lost the important papers so I can't say more.
It's hard on me. My Chronic Pain gets in the way of me taking
good care of him.
I gotta scoot now ... Back later to see what's going on.

I found out that EVERYONE has E coli
in their body.
He does not have E-Coli
He had a bad iinfection.

Soft hugz to you and sure hope your husband is better
soon.
The hospital was pretty much coving up, by letting you
know that e-coli can cause a infection and that is either what
your husband had or could come down with as he's more
suscepible to it.
Do a google search on it and go to the CDC view of it
as e coli can lead to infection.
I think the hospital was just trying to make sure you'd be careful.
You have my continued prayers and well wishes...

Everyone has e-coli, but when it invades certain areas of your body it can lead to infection. If the infection isn't treated it could be serious. That's possibly what your husband had, although I don't know. It would be important to find the source of the e-coli so it could be avoided. For example, women can easily get certain vaginal infections from e-coli, which is generally found around the anus. There are many sources, however. Here along the lake, we sometimes get high levels of e-coli in the water, and the beaches get closed because of that. So you need to find out if your husband had an infection caused by e-coli bacteria, and, if so, what the source might be.

Good thing is it's usually treatable with with antibiotics.
