Is CP our Identity? The next Chapter

So the question is...Is this growing up? (cuz I'm not too sure most people have to go through this) Or is it something different altogether? Or maybe we are in the accelerated course of growing up? (maybe other people get to this point at the end of a long life)...
It's just humpty dumpty ain't fitting back together again. I lost some pieces along the way (a few surgeries ago)...and from reading the postings on this forum...I'm not the only one who lost a few things...
