Hey guys and gals,
Help has arrived!!! Methadone has a lot of good things about
it, it lasts longer, it works harder, and it blocks other opiates (is that good?) But, it is very hard to come off of...I know. Right now I am begging to be put back on it. I am having hot flashes, sweats, headaches, and of course....the bathroom problem...ha ha. But seriously, Methadone has helped many people..not only in pain but during addiction. So, I give it a 10 out of 10!! But that's just my opinion..

OK ...I think we probably do best on Methadone. It does have problems.
You always have to say "I'm taking this for pain." That's kind of a hassel.
Also, not many doctors know about
the action of Methadone so that can put
you in kind of a dangerous spot in the ER for other emergencies ... gall stones
sore throat, infections, etc..
Doctors who aren't in the know, don't know how to prescribe pain other pain
medications.
