Discomfort after Bone Scane procedure

Good Morning,

I had a bone scan procedure performed yesterday to try and find out what is causing the discomfort on my left-side, rear quadrant of the back. I understand that this procedure does not cause any pain or discomfort during the procedure, but it has been 24hrs since the injection and the discomfort on my left-side is now ten-fold and I am trying to concetrate, finding it a little difficult, is there anyone out there that can provide me some information concerning this?

I don't think there should be anything to worry. It must be because of the injection, which was given to you. At times these muscular injections do pain a lot. Ask your doc, if you can use cold ice cubes on that area. A small lump may have formed because of pain, which would go away soon. Infact, some medicines, such as neurobeon, netmycin, etc. pain a lot.
