Well I got the call finally and I will be going to pt Mon. They said they would be doing traction. I will be going 3xs a week for 3 wks.

If this doesn't work then I will be going to get the epaderal injection not sure I spelled that right but anyway wish me luck I need it.

If Monday is your first session they'll likely be doing an evalaution. You should know fairly soon if traction is going to help, although it isn't a quick fix. You can feel sore from it, but if in a week or so you don't feel some periods of improvement, it might not be what you need. Three weeks is plenty of time to know.

I do hope it works for you, PALady is right the first day they will evaluate you, see what you can and can not do and what give you pain, range of motion and all that. They might try the traction the first day, it will all depend on how their evaluation goes. They might try hot and cold packs to or even ultra sound treatments, PT has all kinds of things they can do to get you on the mend!
