Jess
I to want to Welcome you to the HW Chronic Pain Forum. It sounds like you have tried just about everything, or close to it, to relieve your pain. I kind of like to think of Pain Medications, as just another medication to treat something you have! People take medication to control their Blood Pressure and to keep it down, others use insulin to control their Blood sugar and keep it down, People take many different medications to control many different things that their body can nolonger do. So what is the difference with taking pain meds? If you have pain, and it will not go away, and it becomes Chronic, and your body can nolonger can tolerate or control it, so you need to take a medication to help get it under control. Pain left untreated can cause damage to you just as much as High BP or High Glucose Levels can. If taking meds is what it takes to get your pain under control, well then, maybe it is time to see a Pain Clinic and a Pain Management specialist. I know that there is a very negative stigma attached to people being treated with pain meds. But we have to get past that!
At least I think you will find at this forum that people understand what you are feeling as we have all either been there, or more likely are still there! We do understand and can empathize with you! I do hope that you can find a way to get a handle on your pain and discomfort, again Welcome to the forum!
Good Luck to You
