Green Acers is the place to be, fun livin thats the life for me! Sorry I haven't been around everyone, I've been up in the country w/ my wife were I belong since Friday! This is my offical first day off and I have lots to do, so many things, I don't know where to start. I do have one minor problem though, my wife had promissed to go visit an old friend yesterday which left me alone to either work on chores or go fishin, which would you do? There was a high tide in Ozzello at 10:30 where there is a boat ramp few people use because the water gets very shallow and there are rocks everywhere trying to reach out and grab the lowwer unit of your outboard motor. I descided to go out and spend a couple hours playing w/ the fish and get back to the ramp while there was still enough water to float my boat. Long story short, between the porposes, manatees, sharks, eagles and all that wildness, I missed my tide and had to stay out "fishin" untill 7:30 last night! Thank God for cell phones!! Fishing was lousy as it was about
95 degrees, I have a bimini roof which makes all the difference and you can always get up on plane and zip around at 40 mph which is like turning on the AC, but the pounding I get either sitting or standing goes right up to my knees, back and neck> not a good idea! But I did catch enough for dinner for my wife and I. Now here's the kicker, I beat the crap out of myself! I'm hurting pretty bad this morning and I'm not sure this old body can put a new alternator in my wife's 4 runner like I had promissed!
Lesson learned> 
<(PA Lady) I can't be over doing anything anymore, work or play! I have to learn how to control myself and realize I'm not that kid who can just fish all day long jumping around in the boat, scrambling for the net when I'm about to loose the "big one", putting the boat in and taking it out by myself and loads of other things it takes to go fishing in the Gulf of Mex!! I guess w/ cp you have to realize that your body is older than your mind! It's just so hard to control yourself when it's something you enjoy so much!!
I don't think I told y'all about my last day at work on Friday. I descided I was going to be out of there by high noon no matter what anyone said! Well, what I hadn't counted on was the party they had planned for me. I had my car all packed and one foot out the door when the whole office came charging at me with this big cake, pressents and singing for Pete's a very old jolly good fellow! I really was surprized. My boss and I even shook hands and he thanked me for everything> we'll just have to wait and see if he pays the dr. & xray bills he said he would since he didn't report my accident to workman's comp like I had asked! If he dosen't he'll be hearing from my attorny> even though I don't have one yet!! Well, I have to get moving before I get stuck in this seat! I'll try to get caught up w/ everyone soon but I must say congrads and thanks to White Beard on taking on the Monitor job! You Da Man WB!!!! I think you are perfect for the job!
