I am back!  Sorry I haven't been on much, but things have been hectic here.  I had the neighbors to the North over for a BBQ last week and it totaled me out.  So I spent this week trying to recover. 

Plus my youngest is starting college this fall (thank the Good Lord!!) and I've been trying to help him with his FASFA paperwork. 

My psychologist has been keeping me busy with many tasks in writing stuff down, which may I say.....Why the heck do they give us homework???????  That is just wacked!!!!  And to top that all off it's been like in the 100's here so I have been trying to stay inside and out of the weather so that I don't heat stroke out.

I ran out of my new nerve pain medication for a couple of days this past weekend (it's the new one that seems to help with the searing pain down my legs) and just got it refilled on Monday.  Talk about pain geez I hate to remember that LOL!

Anyway....off my soapbox for now.  LOL

Welcome back,
my daughter leaves for college on the 19th August 2009, she's going to
University of North Texas, it'll be hard for me as I can't go, because I have a
procedure being done on the 19 and I really really need it, tooo...and let me tell ya
all that FASFA paperwork is for the birds..Geezee been there, hated that and have to do it
all again next year...so you have my completee empathies on that...

Tell me about it (speaking of FASFA)!! Robert has been on his own since he was 18 and graduated HS. But yet until he is 24 he is still considered a minor when it comes to College??? What's up with that?

Really he's still considered a minor?? don't know what's up with that, maybe it's just on taxes that he's considered a minor..
I just know that we'll have to do the Fasfa all over again for the next 3 years, as is required by the University and for Scholarship..
At least our kids are both in Colleges, that's the good part, so we did something right....

Hugsssss Char!!

Yeah for some reason with FASFA the child is considered a minor until he/she is 24 as far as student loans and stuff like that. Which means they look at what hubby makes and our expenses before they dish out the dough for his college.
