~Common misconceptions and careless words

I have 2 friends that I hang out with on a regular basis, one of which has fibro and just had fusion surgery. She is very supportive of my pain. Now the other one, she is constantly asking myself and the other friend why we aren't out dancing with her, or why we can't keep up with her while we're out walking. She knows that both of us have pain issues, she just doesn't seem to care! She's always making some comment about us "Old people" and having to slow down for the "Cripples". I hate that kind of thing. It just makes me furious!

I've heard every one of those gang and I tell you they hurt! Either I am "Milking off the system" or I am "Faking my pain to get attention". I think everyone that doesn't have CP at least once for say two months....ought to keep their mouth shuts when judging others that are in pain. It is so hard to go into the grocery store or walmart, walking my little waddle and not have thirty people staring at me like I am a freak.

I would love it if everyone who looks at us wierd or mouths off about how we can't be in that much pain, would have to walk in our shoes for a week or so.  Then tell us it doesn't hurt right?
