Vickie, that is great news!!!! I'm sure your mom is in alot of pain, she went through alot with her surgery but with time she is gonna feel like a new person. You take care now and try to rest up for your trip.

Thank you Jag! I called the ICU this morning and the nurse told me that mom is begging for them to take her off the ventilator. The nurse said that everything looks good on her tests and her heart monitor. Still she isn't out of the woods quite yet, she still has another 24 hours where her body can reject the valve, but it looks like she is on the uphill swing. She is excited that I'm coming to help and keeps asking sis when I will be there.

Anyway, I am resting up for my trip Jag and will be very careful with my back.
