Wow,
thank you all for your good advice and quick responses. I have been here before, but had been between the fibro and RA sites recently trying to find a new Rhuemy in my area..mine takes none of this seriously and only smirks when I remark on my pain.
I really wish I could have some help. My supervisor won't let any of my staff come back until Monday. I have a whole new delivery made then, so I like to get it organized before I have it all mounted up and everywhere. School for the students starts officially Wednesday, so there is really so little time. My supervisors answer when anyone has told her how difficult this can be is well you can work somewhere else if you cant do it. In all fairness it is the requirements to be able to lift 100 lbs. When I started it was almost 9 years ago, I was able to do it without much problem, my body has not aged well since then.
My kids are 18, 16, 12, 10, and almost 8. They are great, although the teenagers make me age 6 months for every day..haha. My oldest son was going to go in and help me(even though he is not supp. to) but he had college classes, and work soooo.
I am no super mom, but thank you. I really try to be there for the games, practice, music, but there are times I have missed a game. Ex. this last weekend my daughter had an allstar tourney for softball friday, sat,& sun. I went Friday but had done a bunch of running around for school clothes and such and forgot to check the gas gage Ran out on the freeway..2 hours later my hubby was able to leave work and come help. So 10 at nite my kids were still sitting on the freeway. Sat I missed one game, I just couldn't move, and Sunday I made it half way into the first one. I felt bad. My daughter said she understood, but not going because I din't feel good doesn't strike me as a good mom thing to do.
I want to eventually go back to school. To do something with kids still but something less strenuous.I always wanted to be a child's right advocate/attorney.I think that way I will be able to be there longer for my own kids(physically). Thanks again everyone, have a pain free weekend!! Heather
