Hi everyone!,

Well! Tomorrow is D. DAY for our momto6boys, Tina!!

She will be going in for a c-section around 8:00 am PST.  She asked that we all keep her and the babies in our prayers and thoughts and of course, I told her we will all be waiting to hear. Bobby, T's husband is going to text or call me when the girls are born and granted a clean bill of health!! It has been a very trying time for our dear friend. She has had a very uncomfortable experience with the hospital staff as I heard first hand over the phone.  All I will say is that often times and I mean so very often it is scary, that those of us who live in chronic pain are treated poorly by many in the medical field as well as in our own lives. I will not go into that any further except to say, please keep her in your prayers. 

 

She has made it to her 36 week mark!!! The babies are both over 5 lbs. and will be born on September 27, 2010!! I must say I am excited to say that her girls will be exactly 12 years younger than my 12 year old little/oh my! my BIG girl tomorrow!!  

 

This has been a long journey we have all taken with Tina. I would also like to request each and every one of you to join me tonight and in the morning to not only pray for Tina, Bobby, the boys and those twin girls, but to pray for the doctors and PA's administering anesthesia via epidural, the doctors and nurses who will be performing the cesarean section, the pediatric teams for both Hailee and Alyssa and all of the other people involved in this important and exciting birth.

I am so proud to be a member of this forum. The strength, love and grace with which each of you handle yourselves and those of us who are your peers, is wonderful and a great pleasure to know that each of you have my back as I have yours!

    You got it Sis , I'm glad it'll be over , well at least this part anyway and Tina can start getting herself better and stronger , she is a total star !!!! She's sacrificed so much and suffered so much to make this happen its amazing !! I'll be prayin' everything goes well and both Tina and the girls come thru with flying colors , happy and healthy , she and her family are wonderful people , here's to you Tina Girl !!!! Oh yes, Tina and those precious baby girls will (and have been) in my prayers! I know firsthand how very difficult (but totally possible) it is to be a successfully pregnant CP patient and I have a whole lot of admiration and respect for her for what she has gone through to bring her babies into this world. I was pregnant with only one baby at a time - I can only imagine how much more difficult it was for Tina to carry her twins! I never did get my girls (5 boys), so I am THRILLED for her! I may not know Tina personally, but I am so proud of her. She took care of herself, she took care of those baby girls, and tomorrow she will bring them into this world strong and healthy! I hope everyone has a peaceful day. :-)

Im so happy for Tina and her family. I dont post all that often(easier to deal with my pain sometimes)but Im just thrilled at this birth. Its good that we have had this to look forword and Im hoping that we get pictures !! I am praying for the whole family,heck I think my knee's will be sore from kneeling lol (going to do the whole on my knee's thing just in case). I wish you a good birth with the twins and that you heal fast cause its going to be a chore keeping up with the babies.

Yay, newborn babies!! I hope everything goes great for her and the babies, I'm sure it will. She must be soooo ready for this to finally happen, and her first girls after six boys, it's gonna be great. I know she's gonna be sooo exhausted, I hope she has a speedy recovery after surgery. I couldn't imagine having chronic pain AND having major surgery AND having 2 newborns, she's gonna have alot on her plate, but I know it'll all be worth it once she gets to hold those 2 babies in her arms the first time. I'll be thinking of her and waiting to hear the news that all is well. I'm just happy that she was able to make it this far in her pregnancy with twins, usually they're always born early so everything should turn out wonderful. Keep us updated!!

They are all in my prayers, and I can't wait for the good news! Please let her know we are all wishing her a safe delivery, beautiful healthy girls, and a speedy recovery with little pain! I will be praying all morning for Tina, the doctors and nurses, for her comfort, and peaceful state of mind!

     Tina!....To say we are excited is an under/statement!

     You have been a true Champ through all of this, and have set a wonderful example for all to follow, with your perserverance!

         We all love you, and wish you the best, as you deliver two special little girls into the world.

      Today, has been a long time in comming for you, but you have made it!

        Take care, and we all will be here waiting with joy filled hearts, for news on the delivery, and how you are doing.

Tina! I agree with SE, we are more than excited for you!!

You have been so strong and are an inspiration to me!!
Praying all goes well, and i know it will :) Good luck and I can't wait to hear all about the new little angels :)

I just texted Bobby again, Tina's husband to ask about she and the "Twinkie's" and I've received no response. I've also called the room and no response so, I'm assuming they took her as one of the last surgical patients of the day because of the high risk. I could let my mind go amuck and be scared to pieces, but instead I am standing in faith that ALL is well!!! Please keep her in your thoughts and Lord knows she's got a bundle full of email it will take her ages to sort through, but either I will hear from her or from Bobby and who knows, she may just pop up here. It wasn't her plan to do so, but I'm really trying to keep all worries at bay. Things have been so difficult and I know you all love her as I do so, let's just keep the faith and somehow, one of us will end up hearing from she or Bobby.

Thanks Catz. I've been on pins and needles all day waiting for a reply here. Prayers are being said right now and I know everything will be just fine. It's been a busy day for them and difficult I am sure both physically and emotionally. As well i am sure they have a lot of family to contact and talk too. Keep the faith everyone!!

Yes, SE I don't know what to think. I'll call the hospital this morning at an hour that would be decent for that time frame. I just don't get it and the way my mind is running, it's best for me to leave it at that.

 I have NOT heard anything yet. I just called and left another message on Bobby's phone. I'm officially worried, but thinking positively that she is just enjoying the girls and dealing with all the pain of a c-section. I don't know what else to do except to wait and pray. I know you are all doing the same, but sharing my feelings in the worry wart department.  Tina's a tough girl and I know she will call me as soon as she can or will post herself here when at all possible.  Thanks for everything, for your prayers and healing thoughts for our girl, because she is that! She our girl and my hero now!!!!

Stac, you probably already have, but have you contacted the nurse's station that Tina's room is assigned to? You might have to say you're a 'cousin', 'aunt', etc. to get info, though. I'm sure everything is ok, but I will say an extra prayer anyway!

Ahhh, Splash thanks. Those words are music to my ears and balm on my heart. I tried to play around about way at the nurses desk by saying I was wondering if the babies were in with their Mommy's right now. Would there be a better time to reach her?....but I am not the type that even for this can I flat out not tell the truth. We talked and laughed and cried and had such a good time Sunday evening. And now nothing. It's just the unknown. We'll hear soon enough and all breathe a sigh of relief.
