morfine

Hi Becellea, welcome to the forums. I'm not sure I understand what you're saying....do you mean you were in the hospital for 6 weeks on morphine, and you're wondering what sort of side effects you might have from it? I think that's what you were asking. And now you're only taking the tramadol and panadol they prescribed and you didn't get the morphine prescription filled....did I get that all right?

Morphine can have many different side effecs and your best bet is to check it out on a reputable website like WebMD.com to read a list of all the side effects and which ones are serious or not serious. If the doctors gave you only tramadol and panadol for now that you're at home, they must feel your pain is under better control now.

May I ask, what sort of illness/injury do you have that you were in the hospital for so long? What type of chronic pain do you have now? If you don't feel like your pain is under control, you might want to talk to your doctor about that and see if there is anything that can be done.
