I do.
I avoid lying on my right side often (though on occasion I only get relief by lying on my right side). I know it's a big no-no, but I will carefully wrap my fingers around the implant & pull it up. Apparently there is a nerve trapped between my pelvic bone & the stimulator. It gets worse when I gain 5 pounds or more (and I barely weigh enough to reach the bottom of my weight range). Gets worse when I bend at the waist. Just have to be oh so careful with it. But I've had it for nearly 5 years now & in spite of the fact that I can't do core work on a mat and I sometimes have to deal with these nightmare shooting pains coming from the implant site, I'm still happy I got it.
The other thing I did early on when I was REALLY miserable (considering an ex-plant) was I went to an osteopath. He was able to gently move the stimulator to a slightly more comfortable position. BS said it could flip the device & void the warranty but I figured it didn't much matter since if I couldn't get relief I was gonna have the darn thing taken out anyways. Not really advising you try that, but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.
Gosh, I sure hope you can get some relief. On occasion, epidurals help. Usually not, though. Oh, I just feel so badly for you. That pain is the WORST!
take care,
frances
