It is expensive and in my opinion, not worth the money.
Apparently, its side-effect profile is better than more common opioids but its unpredictable absorption undermines the gains.
I suppose if you can figure out relative to meal time and food consumed (Oxymorphone is highly lipophilic) an optimal time to use it, then you might find it better than alternatives.
Personally, I filled a prescription of 60 pills (I forget the cost at this point) -- but it was expensive. Over a few months, I used perhaps 15 pills and despite being aware of the issues related to food, could never figure out when best to take it.
