My carpal tunnel hurts but isn't bad enough for surgery and hardly anything has helped my fibromyalgia. (currently taking tramadol)
My hand surgeon said I need to take 100mg vitamin B6 daily. B6 may help with carpal tunnel. It may help with the fibromyalgia too.
From my reading: B6 is necessary for the metabolism of tryptophan to niacin and serotonin, lipid metabolism, and may lower the risk of colon cancer by 1/2.
Nearly all multi-vitamins and B-complex formulations have only 2 mg B6. I checked on the ones I was taking, and that's all they had! I bought some 100 mg B6 to try.
Has anyone had any experience with B6?
