Has anyone tired subutex or suboxen for chronic pain? I have been on it for 2 yrs. and I love it. I use to be on so many narcotics that caused me too many problems. I became so addicted or dependent on them. I hated them controlling my life. I suffer from many medical problems including a 3 level cervical fusion. I wanted off the heavy duty narcotcs, so my dr. told me about this. I take one a day and it last all day. If I forget I don't go into withdrawls. It last up to 24-72 hrs in your blood stream. The drug was meant for drug rehab. places to get off opiates. They are now using it for chronic pain pt.s like me. You can look it up on line and see all the positive things about this. I now use subutex which makes up one part of the suboxen.

Can I ask you what you take this for?? I know you mentioned 3 level cervical fusion, but I don't know what that means. I was recently dx with fibromyalgia but I've had, for a while, a fused vertabrea and degerative disc disorder & having a hard time finding something that helps that doesn't totally make me wanna go to bed immediately! I was told to go to pain clinics....but maybe my md will prescribe me some suboxen if it works so well for you?

P.S. I have heard of suboxen, lots of people I know took it for coming off heavier drugs, like crack
