I just joined this site today, posting for chronic knee pain after eleven knee surgeries. While I just found the site today I am virtually in shock, as I just cancelled surgery number 12 on my knee scheduled for last Thursday, after a very bad feeling in my gut about
the outcome. It was to be a full reconstruction and revision. My prayers to you and your family for your loss. Many people, as well as orthopedic surgeons ARE far too casual about
knee surgery. I lost a sister in law who was just 54 y.o., a doctor herself, to a blood clot after knee surgery. May God watch over her, and in her memory I will continue to impart to all who will listen that the orthopodic surgery community looks at knee surgery as a cash cow without fullY informing patients of the major risks involved with knee surgery. They hide the fact that it IS MAJOR SURGERY, regardless of how small the incision is.
May go watch over your wife, and may others learn from your loss that there is NO SUCH THING AS MINOR SURGERY
GOD SPEED SIR
