She is spoiled rotten, I have those cushions on the chairs for the kitchen table, and she keeps pulling them off and lays on them. She sleeps with me, I tried having her sleep in her kennel but she just cries to much and carries on, so I gave in and let her sleep on the bed with me, and she does fine. It is funny because some times I have her in her kennel or penned in the kithchen with a childs gate across the entrance between the livingroom and kitchen, and she will just sit there and whine and cry, till I take the gate down. It is ok if I am in the kitchen with her, but if I'm not......well she is not happy! Ha !
She really does keep me company, and I really do like having her! I had a dog before, he was 19 years old when I had to have him put down, at that time I was still married and my wife did not want another dog, so I gave in and we did not get one. I always regretted that because being on disablilty and being home alone during the day, the dog really was good company for me. Anyway then with the divorce and the house for sale I did not want to get one till after the house sold. The house I am renting now has a nice little fenced in yard and the landlord said if I wanted a dog to feel free to get one. I have always wanted a Cavalier spaniel as they are raised to be gentle and be lap dogs and being on disability and with all my medical, she seems to be a good fit with my life style.
Yep SE she really is a good companion!
