Does anyone know how Tina (momto8kids) is doing?

I spoke with Tina by phone a couple of days ago, and the main reason she has been gone is her computer decided to puke a little smoke out. It's Fried!

She did sound good, but the Christmas season is hard on her since she is caring for 8 childern. She has not had much time to look for a computer yet with all the hustle and bustle going on this Holiday season, but she did tell me that they hope to have her a iMac …by late this week.

I'm sure she will check in as soon as possible with us when it happens….as she misses everyone here.


Flower I doubt a sticky thread will be done, but I agree we need some sort of way to get the word out on these members missing in action…that don't want to be. We do have members that need a break, and they just do not want to be bothered for a bit, so we need to honor that privacy. Maybe Stray and Laura can come up with a better idea!….I have always encouraged the buddy system here and still do….that way at least someone will have a bit of possible news they can share on members missing.

I am with you on this one SE, I doubt they would allow a sticky either. Like you said, some folks will take a break from the forum and then we do have privacy issues to honor. Usually, in the past if someone went MIA someone would start a thread like Flower did here asking about the person. Then if someone had talked to the person and it was ok to post something it was done. I always get permission from the individual before I post something about them.

Sure will be glad when she can get back online. I would have loved to been a fly on the wall at her house with those little ones Christmas morning, lol. Don't you know that was a blast.

Yep, our main computer died... and it's just been one thing after another financially... not to mention Christmas with 8 kids.

We are blessed with an Ipad for my husband's work.... but it just leads to frustration because I can't use this darn thing with my carpal tunnel... plus I hate the touch screen...

Anyway, thinking of all of you each day.... and I promise to be back soon! Flower.... praying for that sweet baby boy of yours!

Hi Tina It's so good to see you post here. I have missed you as well. I bet Christmas was hectic but fun around your house.
