on christmas day i was leaning on a counter for a long time and standing
now my muscles in my arms twitch a little now and then and my legs too
is this anything to worry about or is it just strain

involuntary muscle twitching is caused myoclonis.  Google muscle twitching under join healingwell at the top of the tool bar.  It is interesting.  if it continues please seek medical attention

Hello Ameyers!

I have had this myself many, many times in my life…and well before my DDD showed up. I suppose if it bothers you enough, and continues for a long span of time, then it certainly would not hurt to get checked out. I think at your age, when I was active….is when I had the most strangest odd feelings with my body….and would leave as oddly as they showed up. It's anybody's guess at this point.

At this point my vote is just for one or more types of strain on your muscles and/or nerves.

If it gets worse or does not get better by the new year see your family doctor.

In the meantime some topical muscle rub may help along with warm/hot baths.
