Little suggestion for Mod's and admins =)

Hey everyone!

I am new here and noticed something on your main page. I think it would be fantastic for there to be a Transplant forum. I had a Liver Transplant when I was 10 months and I am now 23. I think it would be pretty cool to have a forum for those who have had a Transplant to chat with other recipients and surviving donors. I have been lucky enough to have the same transplant for almost 23 years. I thought I would post this on here as with my Transplant, I have a lot of chronic pain that I am treated for. Its great to be here :)

Hello and Welcome!

When I first came on here I requested a Cerebral Palsy forum. I don't think forums are added that often, maybe a couple times a year?

But the Chronic Pain forum is a great place to get and give advice and meet some really nice people. Not to mention it's amazing when you need to vent.

I haven't spent much time in other forums because none of those are really my areas of expertise but...the whole site is wonderful and informative. I've really enjoyed being here, as weird as that might sound.

Welcome! We are happy to have you here...but sorry for the chronic pain that brings you this way.....

New suggestions for forums are always welcome. The best idea is to message Peter Waite, the founder of HW, and let him know your suggestions.

Your idea is a good one, and as suggested, contact the owner Peter, he's a great guy. It takes a lot to get a new community going here, and there would have to be enough people to justify adding one (not saying that your ailment isn't equally important to the next).

Thank you Laura, luckily I am doing better then I have which I find very lucky as not many people have lived 23 years with the same liver transplant *knock on wood* but I definitely hope I have no bad news to report in the future for sure!

Our Mods do a great deal with helping us out, but they can't add on new threads, Hopefully if Peter gets enough
e-mails your subject might be added, but even then the forum might not be active, we have a sjogrens forum here which gets
a lost less attention, even the RA forum I wish was more active with more member knwledge and a lot have come and gone...
So it's always nice to want new headings but will there be a following for it after...Hope you will stay and take part here...
