Hi everyone! I just found this site while I was doing research on a spinal epidural injection.
as I read some of your stories, I feel like i'm talking to myself.
I'm 33 and trying to go up and down the medical world to fix my back and pain.
After 6 or so years of having pain in my back/ upper trap / neck.
I finally have a diagnosis of bulging disc and pinchy nerves in c-5-c-6 c-6-c-7. and for once I can honestly say I don't feel crazy.
I have done and tried tons of things. acupuncture, PT, Prolotherapy blah blah most of which was done befor my diagnoses.
now I did the spinal epidural injection last thursday. I was sedated. After the fact I feel the bandage and my injection was in the T3 ish area. Do the dr's usually start that low or did this dr maybe forget I had c-5- 6 issues?
also I see a ton of you are at your wits end with pain and management.
I suppose I could offer up something new for you to try if you have not tried it as of yet.
I've been to the man who writes the books on the subject. And I admit my knee is like I had never had arthritis!
So I may do 1 more SEI and see how that feels. and Give the drs a call again.
Have a great day and nice to meet you guys!
Kim
