Ohh...I'm sorry to hear this:(
Unfortunately it sounds like all you can do is try to stay on top of it by calling the insurance company daily....Getting and recording down names, updates, time/day of call.
As well as call back your Drs. office and politely with them (but firmly) ask what you can do to help and say that you were so looking towards this procedure to help with your pain.
This is where I've found that dealing with any type of company that is over 100 people....there is ALWAYS mess ups....It is truly sad as we are the ones to pay the price with the mistakes...
You are just a "patient number" to the insurance company. So I litreally would call, every day, until you get answers. They are working for you!
