Ok, I was just put into a position today of paying for a two week supply of percocet 10/325 out of my own pocket. Well I have a Costco membership trough work, or so I thought. I went in with my card and dropped off my prescript
ion, then I went around the store and grabbed a couple things that I needed.
I went to the checkout to pay for my few groceries, only to find out that my company that I worked for that was paying my membership, revoked it since I'm on work comp. The people were very understanding, and allowed me to get my groceries, but I told them that I had just dropped a prescript
ion off. They informed me that in the state of California, one does not need a warehouse membership to use a warehouses pharmacy. They said I could walk in any time and get a prescript
ion filled without a membership.
Anyways, I thought that information might be useful to somebody, since filling script
s at costco are 1/2 the price of other places. They also told me that several other states have similar laws, so check it out, and save some money if you can. God Bless

…that is true and has been posted here many times. Sam's is another example that allows this. Sorry your membership was revoked, but glad you were able to get a discount there on your med's

Yep..I've been touting the Sam's club/Costco route for a long time as I use Sams since I don't have insurance.
It is great that by law (all of U.S.) these places allow people to use the pharmacy without the membership.
I did find out that you get even a bit deeper discount with one so I have paid for the regular one of $40 a year because in between the prescript
ions (5 of them) and the gas I buy there...I save $40 in one month! The gas is about
$ .30 less per gallon so that is BIG!
But thanks for posting this in case new people will see it:)
