Good morning Bobby!...and Welcome to our forum!
Oh Bobby!...we are so sorry not only for your sister, but the loving family members as well. If she is suffering from the fatigue syndrome, there is little known about it, and many Dr's simply brush it off as a mental disorder. I have a family member who suffers from it, and she could not even get out of bed for months on end.
I did happen to see her the other day, and she told me that she still suffers from it, but does have good days and bad days, so this may be the reason that your sister can get out and about every once in a while.
Then to add Fibor to the mix!...WOW!...I can see why the poor woman is in absolute misery...and neck, back, and headaches on top of all that.
Has anyone mentioned a pain pump to her? Especially if the other meds are ineffective?
I also believe she really may need to perform some sort of daily Physical Therapy...and it can be done at home. Laying in bed all the time is well known not to be good for anyone. I know it may be difficult for her, but this can be very important to her health. I would seek a good therapist first to see what will be best for her...and something that can be done at home on her own time.
Many of us with chronic back do this in the comfort of our own home,...and again not easy...but is for a very good reason.
This forum is not only for patients who suffer from chronic pain, but for care-givers a well...so you are very welcome here!
I don't have a whole lot of answers for you other than the pain pump suggestion, however,.. we do care and sympathize with both you and your sister. We must remember that pain pumps are to be considered the very last resort for pain control as well.
Again welcome, and enjoy the forum!
