can back stimulator be damaged?

I have a Boston Scientific implant it had been working, I never really lowered my meds but life had been more bearable. I was assaulted a few months back now and I am having huge problems with it now. My foot feels like it is on fire, a sleep and almost like when you cut a nail to short and them bump it, all the time and seems to be getting worse across my foot. Also since then I have developed an intense burning in my upper back left shoulder blade area. Does any one know if this could be the result of being thrown to the ground and then jumped on. Also To be honest it was a police officer who did the damage and before throwing me down and jumping on me he cuffed me behind the back causing the cuffs to press against the stimulator and when he pressed me in the seat to seat belt me it immediately caused my leg and foot to react.
I need any info and help for I am way back to pre-stim pain and beyond.
