i have gastritis and i stopped eating spicy food do to this problem, but sometimes without even eating spicy food i feel pain in my chest like if im about to have a heart attack or something im really worried and i dont know whats causing me this pain

Hi there...I read on another post that you are pregnant...Congratulations...

You really need to contact your Oby/Gyn and talk to them about what treatments/medications you can use to help.

If you think your are in serious danger...contact 911 immediately..

No one on Healing Well is a medical professional so we cannot diagnose or say everything is fine or not...

So, you would be best off contacting a DR. and seeing what they say.

An ER visit for chest pains is not a waste of time for anyone involved. I guarantee they would rather see 50 indigestion cases than 1 more serious one, especially if you are pregnant. I highly recommend getting it checked out sooner than later. Much sooner than later. Like why are you still reading this now.

Agree w/ the previous posters.... while it's *probably* nothing - it's not worth risking while pregnant.

If you choose not to go in to the ER, I would definitely put a call into the on-call OB tonight.... or, worst case scenario - call your OB in the morning.

I concur with everybody above. You can never be to careful when it comes to chest pain. Especially when pregnant. You've got 2 people to care about now.
