Hi,
I've had flat feet for as long as i can remember (i'm 18 now) as a result i ended up with a clicky ankle which was dealt with by an arthroscopy for debridement in the summer. Now the clickyness and pain in my ankle is back already but that is the least of my worries!
I have insoles made up by my podiatrist but with or without them i'm unable to stand for any period of time, now when i was living at home this was liveable, i just slept alot and sat down alot. Now i'm at university i dont have that option, just the 10/15 minute walk to and from lecture results in pain in the bit's of muscle where my arches should be, my ankles, shooting pains up my shins and into my knees, painful and cramping hips and lower back pain! All this pain is really starting to get me down, stops me sleeping at night, stops me going on nights out- i only ever wear flat shoes but after an hour of standing i'm more than ready to leave :( .
I've been having treatment for what seems like forever (since i was a small kid) and i've always worn my insoles everyday for as long as i can tolerate them, but they also tend to blister where my arches should be, i feel like my feet roll on the arches rather than adjusting to the shape of them!
I've posted a link to some pictures of my feet (i think, if i've done it right) incase anybody has feet that are similar and has any pain relieving suggestions just until i get a solution from anybody from the hospital!
Thank you!
