Hi, just wanted to let you know the letter was sent by my pm doctor. A couple of months earlier we were talking about
spinal fusion, I was no thrilled about
and my dr made it clear that no procedure/surgery is going to work. Just as he told me that before I had the neuro stim. And that did not work.
When I see him on my regular appt. in Jan we will discuss the pros and cons of the procedure. I have always appreciated his honesty in telling me just because and procedure or surgery is done does not mean I will be without pain. As a matter of fact I have been disabled since 1996, after a failed lumbar laminictomy (sp). I finally could work no more after 1999. So I am well aware of the fact that if a dr tells me this will work no doubt about, I leave that dr and dont go back.
But as I said, the letter came from his office and after going over my last MRI, what was said in the letter was like it was talking just to me, like this was made for me. Still, I will discuss it with him, and I am taking my sister with me so I can have her there to help me understand what I my not, two minds are better than one. I do know I am not having a spinal fusion, its an intense and serious operation, and with no way of knowing how it will turn out, I am no risking it.
Thank you for your input.
Have a wonderful holiday,
Kathy
