Suzane, was wondering how things are going towards you getting to do a trial for an SCS unit. It has been awhile since you have talked about doing the trial and was wondering if the idea has been ditched or not. I know Skeye had posted to you previously about her experience with her unit. Anyway, I wanted to ask but I could have missed a post from you about this already since I was away sick for awhile.

I've been wondering about you as well, and whether or not you have heard anything more about approval for your stim trial! Hope all is well!

Suzane, I was just glancing at some old posts and yes, it's been since around June of last year that the Dr. in Quebec City said you were a candidate for the ONS and you all were starting the process...

We just know that you have tried so many other things and this seemed so promising for you and I know it takes awhile for things in Canada but wow..that is a LONG time! LOL...

Where do things stand right now? We have all been hoping that this will be something that can take the pain down some at least!!!

Thank you for asking ladies. I hadn't posted any update as there wasn't much to report.
I had to have more appt in Nov. with the psychologist, neurologist and neurosurgeon again as well as a lumbar puncture. So all those appt gave the final go ahead with the ONS (not SCS). So I am waiting on a green light with ontario health insurance plan (it is covered in Ontario) but i am going to Quebec to get my surgery, which i should find out this week and then get the OR date. So it should all be happening very soon.

Will let you all know when I get my date for sure. I am certainly anxious to go ahead with this as thirteen years of head pain is more than I can take at this point. today has been so brutal to say the least.
