I had my first infusion yesterday.  They gave me solumedro and benadryl .   I had no problems with the infusion and no reactions of any kind as of yet.  I hope it helps. Scheduled for another one in two weeks,

Good luck. I hope it works for you:) My favorite part about Rituxan was how few infusions there were each year. So much easier after Orencia and Actemra.

Keep us posted as to how you are doing.

Glad your infusion went well. I hope they continue to go well and that you DO NOT have any reactions to the drug.

I did Rituxan and I did well up to my fourth infusion, then my platelets dropped. I'm now doing the Benylsta will have my fifth infusion on the 23rd. I think my Rheumy freaked out and stopped the drug Rituxan, so now I'm waiting to see something good from the Benylsta.

purple]Hi bluejeans! I hope you do well with the Rituxan treatment and that you are feeling better soon! Whenever I see something I haven't heard of before, I always look it up (can't help it - I love learning!). You may already know this, but Rituxan is produced using mammalian cells - from the ovary of a Chinese hamster!
