About to try Lyrica.. worried about side effects.

Every person reacts differently to each med and the old saying about not believing everything you read? Well dont! I had my horror story with neurontin and was switched to cymbalta and still no good then moved on to lyrica and it took a good month for me to notice any big changes but it helped alot at that point.

I think when I first started it I got alittle dizzy if I got up to quick but that went away soon and I had to take it on a full stomach as it made me a little queasy but not really nausous.

So give it try and give it a chance like I said these types of meds take time to reach theraputic blood levels and until they do you cant really evaluate how much they help or dont help.

Chronica I hate to tell you this but, if they were trying to get the FDA to approve aspirin today, it probably would not get approved. Just because someone reported an adverse effect that does not mean it will happen to you. Every drug has the potential for side effects. I would hate to see anyone forego something that might help them.
