Hey all,
It's been one of those days here, lol... had a bunch of errands to do and then saw my PCP about
the vertigo (more on that in a second). But had to share one of my experiences....
At my PM appt. 2 weeks or so ago - she forgot one of my meds (Opana IR, for BT). I didn't notice it until I got to the pharmacy.... anyway, I picked the script
up at the front office the next day.... but didn't get around to getting it filled until today.... (no, I can't tell a quick story, lol)...
I had the twins, two of the older boys... running around doing errands.... In the midst of everything, decided to stop by the "do it yourself" car wash and clean out our van.
Get to Walgreen's eventually.... and realize that the script
that was underneath my wallet was thrown away at the car wash
Let's just say the 2 miles back to the car wash felt like 200 miles. The whole time.... I'm going through every scenario. Explaining it to my doctor (that wasn't my biggest fear; still, I'd like to keep the reputation of a responsible patient!)... My biggest fear was someone getting my script
with my name, address, birthday, doctor name -- PLUS, needless to say, Opana falling into someone else's hands. Good night - my blood pressure was sky high.
Get back to the car wash.... and there was my script
. Uggggh. Soooo relieved. Didn't even care that about
10 men saw me digging through the garbage, lol....
Re: the vertigo.... spent an hour w/ my PCP. Left w/ a lab sheet full of stuff.... a slip for a brain MRI.... and referral to a neurologist.
So - no news.... only stuff to do next week - but at least it's a start.
Anyway, just had to share my "losing my script
and losing my brain" moment... lol...
Hope you all have a good weekend :) --Tina
