I would agree with Vickie. Get the cardiac workup if you can, not saying that's what it is, but it will put your mind at ease on that part if it shows everything OK. One less thing to worry about, right?
There are types of seizures that can mimic stroke type symptoms. When I was working, I did phone tech support, and was very calmly talking out of my head. When I realized I couldn't remember the previous 5 minutes, or what I was trying to do, I called for a supervisor who took care of the rest of the call, called 911, but all my readings were normal by that time. It can also be called a TIA or Transient Ischemic Attack.
When I listened to the call later with my boss, we were both able to tell the moment the wheels fell of the wagon.
I'd pop over to the panic attack board and introduce myself there as well. Lots of different coping strategies there.
