Since you are not going back to the Doc in a bit try to use a rolling pin over the bursa. It is amazing how much it
can help. It does hurt but you might get relief. If you have a foam roller you can lay your hip on it and roll gently
back and forth. Since I had my l- knee replacement, I have had horrible bursitis in the right hip. A young pt I
had recommended the above.
Also each time I had a procedure done on my knee and had to go to pt I always had an anxiety attack in the
beginning. I think it way my bodies way freakin out about more pain. So we have all been there. Hang in
there, and things will get better.
