Had a nerve block in my left foot last Thursday and it's weird but it is helping with some of my foot pain and if he could've gotten the other nerve going up my back, then he might have helped my back pain, but seems he missed that one, I go again for another one this coming Thursday and then I'll be away for a couple of weeks...Anyone here gotten any Back pain relief from a nerve block in the foot?
just seems weird that it helped some pain but the s1 is still giving me problems.

Chart, I have not heard of this either, however, I went to a lady that did massage therapy & a reflexology for migraines, neck & lower back pain. She would work on my feet and around the ankles & hit certain spots that could get rid of the migraine if that was what I was there for. If my back or neck was hurting & having a lot spasms going on she knew where to work on my feet for that help get the muscle spasms. So, yes there is something to the dermatone patterns on what they control. This lady was in her 70's & had been retired for many years, closed her business but she would still see some of her patients & work out of her home. She was an extremely smart woman when it came to the body, she knew what controlled this or that , she was pretty incredible.
I hope next time he gets the nerve & you get some relief. Take care....Susie

.
Hope to see you soon, SE, remember I look young, at least for my age...

Chart -
Was the doc doing an epidural in your back? It's much easier to block the facet joint nerves, which send the pain messages to the brain.
After my epi's stopped working I had 2 sets of facets which worked. Unfortunately the facet injections are diagnostic, not curative. I'm getting the first set of facet ablations (RFA) tomorrow.

Good morning Chartreux!
....yes!...we look forward to meeting you!
I have sent you both mine and my wife's cell phone numbers.
Can't wait to see and visit with both you and your hubby.
It won't be long now!....just a few more days now.
