Some days I swear I'm so brain dead.
Usually my left leg bothers me and I know its because of my lower back.
But the last week my I noticed my right leg was an issue, I was limping on that leg. It didn't hurt, but oddly my left side hurt worse. And I couldn't figure out what I had done different to cause it. I decided it must have been the rain.
Well I got out of the shower the other morning and needed to run over to the grocery store. Some reason I looked down and realized I was wearing two different sandals. LOL They were both black but 2 different ones.
Hubby laughed at me and the kids laughed harder. I spent the week in the ER for my daughter, running errands, in the schools and getting other stuff done. And nobody noticed or didn't say anything.
Well now that I've matched up the sandals correctly my newly acquired limp is gone. LOL
I've decided that I'm blaming the sndal issue on the kids because I'm convinced they are trying to drive me insane!

made me laugh reading your story. that was an easy medical matter to fix, wasn't it?
at least both your shoes were black. I am color blind and I have often gone out with both black and brown shoes on opposite feet. or recently, was at a super Wal-Mart in my bedroom slippers, forgot to change shoes before leaving the house, at least they were brown, I think.

Omg that's hilarious!
There are 3 of us "girls " in my group and we all grew up together and stayed close thru the years. Lou got cancer a few years ago and Glenda and I took it hard of course. At the viewing the 1st night Glenda and I were standing at the casket and the room was full of people who we've know all our lives. A somber group.
I looked down and Glenda who hates funerals and has to be drug to one has on 2 totally different shoes. Different color.,different styles.
For some reason this struck me as absolutely hilarious! It was exactly something Lou would have done. I got tickled and was trying to get outta the room since I could not stop the hysterical laugh that was building.
I made it to the hallway and there were those zombie looking guys that hover in the halls of funeral homes and the look on their faces was priceless.
I couldn't stop laughing and they no joke called an ambulance! ! They thought I had went off the deep end out of grief.
All I could think about
was what a laugh Lou would have had as it was something she would have done not Glenda.
After I was so embarrassed and to this day I keep my eyes off people's shoes at funerals.
Thanks for reminding me of one of the best yet worst moments of my life.
