  Rain or change in weather makes my pain so much worse. I left work today because I couldn't take it anymore. I was completely miserable. Pain is just something I have tried to get used to. I know it is going to be there and nothing I can do to stop it. But when it gets real bad, it's hard to suck it up. I hate hurting all the time. And I hate the effects pain has done to my life.

  I have never fully understood why rain makes you hurt worse. But today, I am staying off my feet and trying to relax and rest. Getting upset only makes things worse...

So sorry Anice and I'm another one of those rainy weather people. Im just one huge ache when rain moves in. I simply want to crawl in bed and cover my head until the sun comes out again.

I have arthritis in my left hip and it only seems to hurt when its raining outside. I thought it was just me!

Agree!! Betting there are a lot of us ' feeling it '.. I hope I manage to sleep at all with the big changes in the weather headed this way.

just posted my thread about a miserable day, then I read yours. sorry you had a bad one too, but at least I know I am not alone

I agree, what is it about cloudy/rainy days that can trigger some of off into a negative frame of mind or mood. I could never leave anywhere, like Seattle, where its cloudy all the time.

I hope you get to feeling better.

Sorry to hear that your pain has been so bad today (((hugs))). I too am affected by rain and colder weather. I have RA, Lupus, Fibro, and loads of other things. The RA and lupus make my joints ache all the time anyway, then add rain/cold weather into the mix...... well you know what happens.

My hubby was telling me that we are having flash flood warnings until 10:00 Friday night. Which makes me think it's gonna rain like heck all day today cry I've had a really busy and painful week, no Dr appointments today maybe I'll be able to sleep a bit more today, IF I can ever go to sleep.

I hope that your pain levels improve over the weekend. Hopefully, by Saturday you'll be feeling 100% better and can do something you enjoy.
