...when, for whatever reason, a pharmacy won't fill our prescription(s) - but I don't think I've ever gotten THIS frustrated! I'm guessing that this guy was trying to fill a narcotic scrip- well now he's in jail, probably withdrawing, his prescription has probably been seized as evidence, and he's going to have a hard time explaining it all to his doctor. I never fail to be amazed......

I doubt his dr will see him again. My personal opinion is that he was not a CP patient. And I base that on his violent behavior. I realize that being without pain meds when you have CP and/or have been taking them is far from good or rational. But, to stab someone, to be so out of your mind because you don't have the meds that your action could cost someone their life. To me that is addiction and there is a difference in addiction and physical dependence.

Well I probably agree just based on the fact that without my meds, most likely even with them come to think of it, I couldn't jump over no counter, have the mental or physical wherewithal to stab anyone even if they don't put up a fight and others aren't intervening to subdue me.

I have seen that kind of violent reaction when we attempt to save addicts whom have Od on heroin, the minute that narcan hits the bloodstream everyone better move! They're some mad hatters!

Forget you just saved their life you also, in the words ofa frequent flyer, you **#@#@** just wasted $100 high.

In reality? That's just as sad I guess.
