I have had atypical facial pain for five years. I have done all the meds and injections over the years. I even had experimental surgery above my right eye twice. a rhyzotomy and a neurectomy on my supra trochular nerve and supra ocular nerves. this pain has changed my life completely..i no longer know what to do

Okay, I'm just trying to add some humor. I'm very sorry that you are experiencing that. Did the surgery or injections help at all? My hysterectomy didn't "cure" my pain but it did make it a bit better. I no longer have to stay in bed once a month in horrendous pain. Is there anything that alleviates any of the pain? That might help determine what's causing it.

Hi Vicki,

i too suffer from a form of facial pain, you get to your wits end, so i understand your plight. i have not had any of the treatments you have endured, just LYRICA, CYMBALTA AND XANAX at night. i have given up hoping and resigned myself to it, though i still can't believe i have this.

My sympathy goes out to you.

Where is the +z option? I vote that because it's positive vs. negative.
