Funny you should mention this. Seems our paths are crossing quite a bit.
I have scoliosis, I have what some PT's have said are leg length discrepancies (but my hip surgeon said no),..but I still have to wear a lift in the leg "I" think is shorter to balance my pelvis.
For many years, I would always sit on one foot. I'd tuck the foot of one leg under the butt cheek of the other. I mean constantly,...at restaurants, at home, sitting on the ground, sitting anywhere. If I tried to "sit up straight" I was in pain.
I never really caught on, but even when I'm in bed, or sitting in a chair, I find myself tucking a small pillow or blanket under one cheek. Still to this day.
Funny, as I'm writing this, (because it's become so automatic, I didn't realize it), but I'm doing it now while I'm sitting in the computer chair.
Interesting topic, and I didn't think about it much before. Hmm.
