hello everybody, how is everyone today. we i'm having kind of a rough day.
my neuropathy is really kickin my tail today for some reason. it fell like putting my feet in the campfire
plus the electric shock sensation that goes with it. the pain meds don't seem to touching the pain.
since the pain meds aren't touching it, am curious is there any kind of non conventional trick i could try.

My nerve pain in my neck can be treated with ice. I have a neck brace in my freezer that I'll wear to numb the pain. Can use heat on and off but don't over do it as it could make things worse.

I have a pain cream that is Rx but maybe an otc pain cream will work.

jp and anyone else - What's the theory on not using heat? My pain is from my neck too - central cord syndrome. My whole skin burns horribly, zingers down the arms.

Is it called neuropathy when there's nothing wrong with the nerves except for the crushed ones in the neck? One doc (or maybe a nurse) wrote down radiculopathy.
