Prayers and well wishes for members

We have several members whom have family members having procedures or surgery this week.

Prayers for

SB(SnowBunny)

WB(Whitebeard) as he completes his move to his new house in KY! Hoping he doesn't overdo it.

Tina(Blessedx8)
Michael (SE)
Both of whom are away from the board dealing with the overwhelming things life sometimes gives us.

Anyone else you all can think of or know about feel free to add them to the list and we will make this our (Wish) list. Wishing all healing thoughts and prayers for them and their family for quick and safe resolutions.

I shall also send my prayers to The Big Guy Upstairs.

We all need the love and support of prayers, but at difficult times like these, extra prayer doses are an extra kind gesture.

Thank you for reminding us and keeping us up to date.

Thanks for thinking of us,we never turn down good thoughts or prayers. My husband's deal did not work, we are not surprised but the dr felt it was worth making an attempt. So,we will see what he thinks in a couple of weeks.

Very sweet of you to post this thread Vickie!!

My mom's cataract surgery (left eye.....right eye will be on the 16th) went really well!! She was concerned about having halos starting last night but they started going away this afternoon...

So now that she knows what to expect, she is not nervous at all for the next one!

Thanks so much to WhiteBeard for the emails helping to answer all her pre-op questions to put her at ease at it was great for her to hear it from someone who just had this done! She said the same thing as you that the whites and colors are so VIVID now!! I hope you have a safe move and I know it will be wonderful living close to family again!

And thanks to my other peeps both online and off for all the prayers:)

I will continue to pray for your husband Susie and to Tina and the others during this time with family obligations...

No such thing as too many prayers, sure all of them are appreciated, both those sending them, and those receiving them. You can add me on the list. I already have Barbara on mine, for starters.

Sorry I didnt get back sooner, my internet was on the blitz and since its about our only choice of cable and Wi-Fi service providers they are expensive and in no hurry! You use them or get nothing!

SB so glad your Moms surgery went well and that WB helped "calm " the situation, keeping her in my thoughts for the next one to go just as well.

Susie sorry that didn't work out and hoping they get the right thing on the agenda.

Tina keeping you in our thoughts as well and sending you a wish for some extra strength to push on.

Barbara, hoping for you some of that strength as well!

WB is now I'm guessing in the new house trying to find the coffee pot and waiting for the cable and internet truck to show up! Lol. Maybe he's getting some rest or just enjoying being with family.

David, as always you're in my prayers, and thank you for mine. SB I'm glad your Mom's surgery went well, I know I had my cataracts removed in June and August of this year. Yes, things are very clear now.

Tina, I'm sorry to hear that you're having so many health and pain issues, I'll keep you in my prayers.

SE you're in my prayers as well as you're going thru the difficult times.

Susie not sure whats happening with the situation with your hubby, but I"ll keep you both in my prayers.

WB I'm praying that your move went well and that you're not having to much pain from all the packing and moving.

Vickie thank you for you prayers for strength for me. Linda as always I'm praying for you and we all appreciate your prayers for all the members here.

Splash I'll keep Robert in my prayers and also put him on my ladies prayer list. Don't ever give up hope, like Vickie said there are loads of studies and new treatments coming up everyday. Hang in there, I'll pray for you too.

Rick, Merrida, Loretta, UA, thank you for your prayers and all of you are in my prayers too. Praying that we ALL have a good weekend, with low pain levels and can enjoy our days and sleep well at night.

Thank you, Vickie. And I totally agree with you - as long as he has breath, there is hope. For 14 years I have loved him - and we are best friends - I won't give up on him. And you're right, nobody can anticipate what the human body (or this disease) will do. I (we) intend to keep right on fighting - and ignoring the naysayers! What do they know, anyway?!

And thank you also, Barbara. I know how tough things are for you right now, so thank you for thinking of Robert - and including him in your ladies prayer list. Some of the men from his church met with Robert the other day and anointed him. They also had a 'round table' and just talked, laughed, and cried. It was good for him. He finds comfort in his church (although he finds himself getting a bit angry with the 'big guy' lately). Although I don't attend with him, I have my own strong spiritual beliefs and practice in my own way - but I'm holding on to faith.

We try to find humor wherever we can, especially with this - it's how we keep our sanity! Anyway, the other day we were talking about what the doctors said and I made the comment, "Well I don't hear any fat lady singing!" Not even 2 seconds later, I hear singing - I looked over at the TV and there was some commercial on with a heavy-set opera singer, singing away! Lol Hey, I'd rather laugh, than cry.....
