One of Carnival cruise ships docked outside Miami today due to the accidental drowning of a little boy in the ships swimming pool.
I couldn't recall if David said what ship they would be on did anyone catch it? All the ships are named.
Carnival sure has had their share of misfortunes this year.
I was trying to watch Miami news to see how long it would be docked or if they had to cancel the cruise but it didnt give much information.

Awe, that is so tragic and saddening news.
Lets hope its not the same ship David is on.
Prayers all around...

David wrote the following back in May:
.. so today, we booked our 2nd Carnival Cruise out of Charleston. Five Days again to the Bahamas, just a different order in ports this time around.
So sad to hear of the little boy. Truly a parent's worst nightmare.... Praying right now for the family.
Will google to see if I can see more info.

Here's more details. It was a ship coming back from a 4-day trip (so not David's ship)....
So sad. It was a 6 year old who was swimming w/ his 10 year old brother.

Thanks Tina I thought they said this was the Victory cruise and was pretty sure I saw David say somewhere they would be on the Fantasy cruise?
It was mind boggling to me how a child drowned on a crowded ship.
I believe Carnival has some bad Karma going on or something, it seems everytime we turn on the news down here there's another story.

I looked at the PC forum, Fantasy. What a horrible thing to happen, cannot imagine.
