I've had a moderate headache since my myleogram which was 2 weeks ago.  Today, it's getting worse and worse.  vomiting has also started.  has anyone experienced such severe pain 2 weeks after the procedure was done?  waiting for my d smhair 's nurse to call me back to find out what to do.  asprin, ibuprofen, nothing is working.

You need to call your dr ASAP. Most of the time they can do a blood patch & that takes care of this problem. I hope you have not waited too long. If you don't get a call back before they leave today, go to ER. Be sure t let them know about doing the myelogram.

thank you susie, they called and told me to lay down and drink as much caffeine as possible and if it gets worse go to the e.r. how can it get worse. jesus, i'm already feeling like my head is going to explode? What do you mean about I may have waited too long? won't there be anything they can do? thanks for replying and the welcome

Go to the ER immediately and get a blood patch done. You will feel so much better...Post back afterwards... So go to the ER, now!

hello and welcome, sorry to here about your pain. i've heard about spinal headaches from my wife.
wouldn't wish that on anyone. i've also had 2 myelograms back a couple years ago and they
also told me to lay down for a couple of days and drink plenty of fluids.
two weeks seems like along time to me. hopefully your feeling better but if not, i'd recommend
a trip to the E.R....best of luck to ya..
